🎬 Selections & Lineup
A selection is the final cast for a show — who plays which role. Once built, you publish it to Discord so the whole group can see it.
✨ Creating a selection
- Go to Selections in the MyLipaix sidebar
- Click Create new
- Choose the show this selection is for
- For each role, assign a member from the dropdown (the dropdown lists available members)
- Optionally add a note per member (e.g., "arrives 15 min late")
- Click Save — the selection is saved as a draft, not yet published to Discord
TIP
The members available in the dropdown are drawn from availabilities already declared for this show. Members who marked themselves unavailable still appear, but are visually differentiated.
📣 Publishing to Discord
When the lineup is ready, click Publish on the selection page.
Publishing sends an automatic message to the designated Discord channel with:
- The show details (date, format, venue)
- The lineup (role → member name)
- Emoji reactions for members to confirm
After publishing, edits you make to the selection are automatically reflected in the Discord message (it updates the existing message rather than posting a new one).
📊 Participation stats
The selection view shows participation statistics for each member — how many shows they've performed in, how many times in each role. This helps coordinators make fair and informed casting decisions.

For Public Investigation and home match shows, the selection page has a Live Show button. It opens MyLipaix Live Admin (/admin/live/<showId>) for that event. See Live Show Control and the format-specific pages (Public Investigation / Match) for how to run the display.
