🎭 Managing Shows

Shows are the core of the LIPAIX platform. Everything else — availabilities, selections, ticketing — revolves around them.

✨ Creating a show

  1. Go to Shows (Spectacles) in the MyLipaix sidebar
  2. Click Create new
  3. Fill in the required fields (see below)
  4. Click Save — the show is saved as a Draft and won't appear on the public site yet

📋 Required fields

Format — The type of show (e.g., "Apéro Impro", "Public Investigation", "Battle"). Formats are predefined. Choosing a format will auto-fill the title (you can override it).

Date and time — When the show takes place.

Venue — Where the show is held. Venues are predefined in the system.

Show poster / image — The image shown on the public site and in Discord messages. Without one, the show uses a generic placeholder.

Booking — How people buy tickets. Three options:

  • BilletWeb: enter the BilletWeb event link and the price range. The site generates a booking button automatically.
  • External URL: enter any other ticket URL.
  • None: no booking button — only an info button appears.

Description — A longer text about the show, displayed on the event detail page.

📢 Publishing a show

A show must be Published to appear on the public website.

  1. Open the show
  2. Change the status from Draft to Published (top-right status toggle)
  3. Click Save
  4. Click Revalidate Cache in MyLipaix so the site updates

To take a show off the public site without deleting it, set it back to Draft.

🏛️ Formats and venues

Formats and venues are managed separately in MyLipaix. If you need a new format (a new type of show) or a new venue, create it first in those sections, then it will be available when creating a show.

🎪 Festival mode

The home page can switch to a festival layout when the group hosts or participates in a festival. In Settings:

  • Toggle Festival mode on/off
  • Set the video embed URL (YouTube or Vimeo embed link)
  • Write the festival headline (displayed at the top of the home page in festival mode)

When festival mode is on, the home page shows the video and headline instead of the regular "next show" featured block.
